California and other AGs intervened in the lawsuit to defend the law.

Plaintiff AGs challenged President Trump's order redirecting $2.5 billion from the Department of Defense to fund border wall construction along the United States-Mexico border, without Congressional approval.

The Leadership Center for Attorney General Studies (LCAGS) strives to provide important information about each attorney general and their actions. The information provided by LCAGS is not a comprehensive view of each attorney general. Readers should not judge the qualifications of an attorney general based on a few selected actions but should consider the totality of an attorney general's service to their constituents.
